Sick Again

This is not our winter for good health. Not to complain, but its been crazy around here. All three kiddos have been sick! They all three suffered with different symptoms! It started with Jakobi on Friday. He was having breathing issues. He's had this before, which required breathing treatments, so we headed to the Doctor on Saturday morning and left with a prescription for Albuterol, a breathing treatment to give the boy every 6 hours. 24 hours later, he was a different boy! Saturday evening, Maylee began coughing, which led to hacking, which kept most of us up that night! She was miserable. She was still coughing on Sunday, so she missed Church, which means she didn't get to hear me sing my solo, which was so sad, because I just know she would have been singing right along with me. She was still coughing yesterday, but seems to be back to herself today. Oh, and Saturday night, Caislyn woke up sick and all day on Sunday complained that her throat was sore and her ear was hurting. Motrin did the trick, until about 10pm Sunday evening. We were up with a very miserable girl! So, yesterday I took her to the Doctor and left with two prescriptions. She is doing a lot better today, although she didn't go to school, since she's not back to 100 %.

I know that being sick is a part of life. Every time my kids are sick, I thank God that the sickness is only temporary. It could all be so much worse. I pray for all the families out there who have sick children every single day of the year. I truly do think of you often!

I think this Mama needs a break! And it looks like I am going to get it! I will keep you hanging on to what I am about to do. I will inform you in next week's post. *Keep us in your prayers tomorrow evening at 7 pm. Burke and I will be sharing at Aultman. THANKS.

You can always see the sickness in their eyes. Poor little thing.
