The Shock of a Lifetime
Now that everyone is in total shock...its probably time to fill you in on a few details.
(Sunday, May 28th) After a day of cramping and bleeding, we found ourselves in the E.R thinking that we had lost our precious baby. But to find out in our ultrasound that we had 3 precious babies! (It's amazing what 1 round of Chlomid can do!) Now, talk about a SHOCKER moment for us. The bleeding was just my body adjusting to 3 babies!
We will now be seeing a specialist, and will be going in tomorrow for a more in depth ultrasound and hopefully they will give us a lot more info to go on. So keep checking back for details.
In the meantime, We'd appreciate your prayers for:
1. My health and this thing called "bed rest" (not fun!)
2. Our babies, especially the one baby with a low heart rate!
3. Caislyn, as she adjusts to all the changes
4. Burke and I as we prepare ourselves for this "NEW" journey (one moment we are Excited, the next moment we are Scared to death!!)
Thank you for sticking with us through our journey...it sure has been an exciting one, hasn't it?We know that GOD has this all under control and HIS plan is ALWAYS perfect...HE obviously thinks that WE fit the mold for being parents to triplets! and to me that is such an HONOR given from ABOVE!!!

There may be some more hidding in there. The Hummel Quintuplets. Has a nice ring to it.
Bed rest is not fun (been there), but it is worth it knowing you are doing the best thing for yourself and your babies. :-) Wish you all were closer so I could help... I think of you so often and try to say a prayer each time. Blessings to you all! Jaena
We're praying for you guys... for peace, good health and sanity!!! I can't imagine the emotions you must be going through!!! Congrats!
For any advice on what to do during bedrest...give me a call. I did it with all 3 and got pretty good at it! Jason was an old pro by the time I was pregnant with Zeke! We're so excited for you! Stay off those feet!
If you want I can bring my PS2 over for you to play.
Congratulations! We'll be praying for you guys.
